For centuries, the Holy Grail has been the ultimate prize of legends and kings. But when a determined archaeologist finally unearths the sacred relic, they discover the truth is far darker than the parables suggest. Intertwining early Christian lore with vampire mythology, Hail Mary #1 introduces an ancient immortal bound by the blood of Christ. She is a living testament to a history kept in the shadows – but she was never meant to be disturbed. As she awakens into the modern world, the hunt for redemption begins for a woman whose presence has haunted the edges of faith for over two thousand years…

Hail Mary #1 is a 24-page, full-colour comic book created by Sun Khamunaki, written by Garth Matthams (Witch Creek Road, Pumpkin), with art by Kenan Halilović (Witch Creek Road, Pumpkin) and colours by Viviana Di Chiara.
